GMJ provided planning services and views for Make Architects Heygate Masterplan Outline Application.
GMJ have acted as visualisation consultants on this project for over several years. They provided a wide range of planning services from assisting in the process of negotiating view locations to determining the visibility impact of various design proposals. Critical to the success of the final design approach was the 3D building parameter envelope created by GMJ from critical view locations both locally and from the Serpentine Bridge in Hyde Park.
GMJ produced the planning views for both the Maximum and Minimum master plan proposals for both summer and winter views. Working with DP9 and the Tavernor Consultancy, GMJ designed, set out and produced the 2 volume Townscape and Visual Assessment Chapter that ran to over 400 pages in length.
